Albors Management has defined and supports the following Quality Policy, which is appropriate to the purposes and objectives pursued by the company:

Albors’ mission is to provide its customers with:

suitable for animal nutrition.

  • biocides;

suitable for the control of specific pests, with the aim of safeguarding animal welfare.

Management is committed to the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of its Management System, as well as to complying with the requirements of applicable mandatory regulations and the voluntary standards adopted by the company.

For this purpose, and in order to maintain a high standard of the products and services offered, the company has implemented a management system designed to:

a) ensure compliance with the relevant GMP+ documents for feed products, in line with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 for biocides, applicable legislation and customer requirements;

b) remain appropriate to the context and objectives of the organization;

c) provide a framework for establishing and evaluating the objectives of the Management System;

d) ensure appropriate internal and external communications relevant to the Management System;

e) ensure a commitment to the continuous improvement of the Management System and maintain the necessary knowledge regarding feed safety and biocide safety.

This approach, which has always been an integral part of our philosophy, is fully aligned with principles focused on processes, customers, training and the overall organization of the company, as clearly reflected in the GMP+ certification for feed products and ISO 9001:2015 certification for biocides.

In this regard, ALBORS has established the following guidelines:

With regard to feed products

  • annual renewal of GMP+ certification;

  • preference for suppliers certified according to GMP+ or an equivalent standard;

  • implementation and continuous development of staff training in accordance with GMP+ and HACCP principles;

  • monitoring of any complaints relating to the food/feed safety of supplied products.

In general, with regard to all marketed products

  • reduction of non-conformities;

  • compliance with agreed delivery times;

  • continuous market research aimed at identifying products that meet customer requirements and provide increasingly high levels of quality and reliability, including where prices remain unchanged;

  • product traceability;

  • continuous assessment of employees’ knowledge, awareness and understanding;

  • commitment by everyone within the company to internally report any actual or potential issues relating to the Management System.

In order to maintain efficient and effective business operations, Management has defined clear responsibilities and detailed job descriptions for all personnel.

At least once a year, Management defines new objectives. These objectives are reviewed as part of the Management Review and must be consistent with this Policy and measurable.

This Quality Policy is itself reviewed at least annually as part of the annual Management Review.
